Who is responsible

MAAT, based in the United States, is responsible for the information it receives through somosmaat.org. You can reach us at info@somosmaat.org.

What we ask for and why

The clarity session is scheduled in a Google calendar: there you share your name and email (and anything you'd like to tell us) to book the time and receive the Google Meet video call link. We use that information only to schedule the session, contact you and prepare for that conversation.

The form for companies, on the Organizations page, asks for your contact details and what your team needs. Submitting it opens WhatsApp with those details filled in: you send it from your own account, and WhatsApp's policies also apply.

Free tools

The tests, the Journey through the 7 Chakras and the PDF guides ask for your name and email (and, depending on the tool, what you do and how you found us) to show or send you your result or the guide. That email is also used for MAAT invitations, which you can stop receiving at any time.

Mentoring clients

What you record in the MAAT app (check-ins, habits, beliefs, notes) is only visible to you and your mentor. Organizations that hire programs receive aggregated, anonymous data, never what each person shares.

Who we share data with

We don't sell or hand over your data. We use providers that help us run the service, each with their own security obligations: Google (calendar, video calls and analytics), Supabase (the database for the app and our forms), Hotmart (workshop payments), Substack (newsletter), WhatsApp (messaging) and our web hosting provider.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your data by writing to info@somosmaat.org.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they view. It only runs if you accept cookies in the notice that appears when you arrive; if you decline, it isn't loaded. You can change your choice any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Google may process this data on servers outside your country. We don't use advertising cookies. The site also stores in your browser the language you chose and your cookie choice.
