Artists and athletes

Outside, the applause. Inside, the silence.

For Latin American musicians, actors, creators, athletes and competitors whose living depends on performing at the exact moment, and who feel their worth hangs on the next result.

Where you are today

Your identity got tied to your performance.

When it goes well, relief. When it doesn't, everything shakes. Between shows, between competitions, there's an emptiness you don't know how to fill.

  • Your mood rises and falls with every show, game or post.
  • The pressure before you go out isn't adrenaline anymore: it's wear and tear.
  • A creative block, an injury or a bad season makes you doubt who you are.
  • It's hard to stop without guilt or the fear of falling behind.
  • You've looked for ways to quiet the noise, and they didn't leave you better.

You are much more than your last result.

The discipline that brought you here can also hold you up on the inside.

What changes in 4 months

You train your body and your craft. Now, the mind that carries them.

Music and stage

When your work is you

Musicians, actors and dancers. We work on pre-show nerves, constant exposure, comparison and the question of what's left of you when the lights go down.

Visual arts and creation

When creating becomes an obligation

Painters, sculptors, photographers, illustrators, writers and content creators. We work on the fear of the blank page, judgment of your own work, the pressure of making a living from what you create and the question of who you are when you're not producing.

How it works

Four months. One principle a month. Something every day.

It isn't a course you consume or a talk that inspires you for a day. It's a structured process, with someone walking beside you and a practice that becomes your own.

Month 1 · UncoverGratitude
Month 2 · RewriteLove
Month 3 · RebuildIntention
Month 4 · IntegrateWill
  1. Every week

    A session with your mentor

16 video sessions, one-on-one or in a group of three at most. We look at what happened, what moved and what comes next.

  2. Every day

    Practice in the MAAT app

A short morning check-in, an evening close to review the day's decisions and your habits in plain sight. Five minutes in the morning and five at the end of the day hold the change between sessions.

  3. Always

    A community of peers

People at the same point in life. No posing: people who know what it's like to have it all on paper and not recognize yourself inside.

Who it's for

An honest filter, both ways.

It's for you if…

  • You make (or want to make) a living from your art or your sport, at a professional level.
  • Your performance rules over your wellbeing.
  • You're at a turning point: an injury, a block, a new stage or retirement.
  • You want to train your mind as seriously as you train or rehearse.

It's not for you if…

  • You want to replace your coach, sports psychologist or team: MAAT works alongside them.
  • You expect instant results without daily practice.
  • You're in an acute clinical crisis: mental health care comes first.
  • You're not interested in looking inward.

Plans

Two ways to go through the process.

FAQ

What people usually ask before starting.

Something else on your mind? Email us at info@somosmaat.org or message us on WhatsApp.

Is this therapy?

No. MAAT is a mentoring program: it works on emotional regulation, identity, beliefs, meaning and habits through a structured method, spiritual engineering. It doesn't replace psychological or psychiatric treatment. If you're going through a clinical crisis, that support comes first, and we'll tell you so honestly in the clarity session.

What does decision-making have to do with peace of mind?

Almost everything. Many of the conflicts draining your energy today started with a decision made in the heat of the moment. Spiritual engineering works on how you decide, what you weigh each decision against and what peace it leaves you with, so you live with fewer conflicts and more coherence.

How much time does it take each week?

One weekly session with your mentor and five minutes in the morning and five at the end of the day in the app: a check-in to start and an evening close. It's designed for people with demanding schedules.

Is it in person or online?

Sessions happen over video call, so you can do the process from any country and time zone. In-person retreats, ceremonies and expeditions are optional: they are announced separately and aren't needed to complete the process. The closing ceremony can be held online.

What happens in the clarity session?

It's a private, free conversation. We talk about where you are, what you've already tried and what you want to change. If MAAT makes sense for you, we walk you through the process and plans. If it doesn't, we'll tell you what could help.

I've tried therapy, courses and retreats. Why would this be different?

Because it isn't one more isolated attempt. It's a 4-month process with an order: first you understand the beliefs you're living from, then you rewrite them, and finally you build habits that hold them. With someone beside you every week.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the plan (1:1 or group). We share the exact investment in the clarity session, once we both know the process is right for you.

What happens after the 4 months?

You close the process with a closing ceremony, and you can stay on in comuni-MAAT, the graduate community, to keep what you built.
